Your first visit with Dr. Mihalik is complimentary and no referral is required. On this first visit, you will receive a complete clinical exam and review of your medical/dental history. Digital orthodontic X-rays and photographs will be taken for treatment planning. Dr. Mihalik will discuss with you his treatment recommendation, estimated treatment time, and answer your questions and concerns. Our treatment coordinator will present treatment fees, review any insurance benefits you may have, and work with you to develop a interest-free financial plan that fits your budget. Our goal is to make orthodontic treatment at CC Braces work for you and your family. For your convenience, time is available to start your orthodontic treatment at this first visit!
Knowing the education, skills, and experience of the orthodontist are extremely important for excellent orthodontic results. You are not just investing in brackets, bands, and aligners, but in the skills and knowledge of Dr. Mihalik, who is making important decisions about facial profiles as well as jaw function. This will ultimately give you a healthy, beautiful smile for life.
Visiting the orthodontist about every four to eight weeks is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. We will work with you to make sure that your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know what days and times work best for you.
If you need to reschedule an appointment, we ask for 48-hours notice for us to make every effort to accommodate your request.
VISITING THE DENTIST DURING ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months during your orthodontic treatment for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups. If additional dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist.
